It has been a while since posting. Thought I'd do some catching up. This is a behind the scenes shot on a northern California assignment. Amazing people, great location and some interesting images came about.

Art and stuff. These are a few images made while hanging out with a polymer clay artisan, Juli McCarthy, during an assignment for the Courier-News. Juli features her creations at the Bristol Renaissance Faire in Kenosha, WI from July through September.

These are a series of images from Asrai Garden, a floral and gift shop on North Avenue in the Wicker Park neighborhood of Chicago. The place is amazing, the people are fun and if you're in need of a unique floral fix or interested in browsing some fun items then this is the place. Many of the things I photographed are handmade, one of a kind fun gifts that were displayed beautifully. I love natural light that eliminates the want or need for controlled lighting.
